I asked myself this question several times, before realizing others felt the same way. Sales has changed and it's time we, as salespeople embrace it. Now, 53% of buyers choose a vendor based on their buying experience. At Showpad we're on a mission to embrace this change and ensure your organization delivers the best buying experience to your prospects and customers. Along the way we're also providing Marketing Teams with better insight into how their content is being used, helping Salespeople blow past their number now that they're better equipped at every point in the buying process, and bridging that gap between the sales and marketing departments. Having worked for one of the largest sales organizations to starting a sales and marketing engine, I know this challenge from both ends of the spectrum. What makes me unique is that I've felt the pain of what we're solving for years, across industries, and can speak to how some truly incredible organizations have revolutionized the way they sell. Either you spread a broad message, and it rarely resonates. Or, you tailor your message and it makes far too much time. At Detective by Charlie, we're obsessed with making your best messaging scalable. We help sales teams reimagine their outreach process so you can send smart, targeted, effective messages faster than ever before. That means more time capitalizing on what's working and less time worrying about what's not. My role was making sure everyone knows what we're up to. Some days that meant content marketing, others it was talking to prospective clients, some times it's conferences. But the best days were helping sales teams build out the outreach strategy they'd always hoped for, but never thought was actually possible. Notable achievements: -Grew sales team from 1 to 5. -Brought on several enterprise clients, including a few in the F500. -Formulated, drafted, set and implemented sales and outbound strategy. -Collaborated on everything from website design, to email templates, to presentation decks and scripting for sales team. -Highest grossing salesperson in every quarter throughout my tenure. Bloomberg Government is a comprehensive web-based service that provides rich data, analytical tools, timely news and in-depth policy analysis, for those who need to understand the business impacts of Federal Government actions. What makes us unique is the breadth of our product. BGOV is an information behemoth, which tracks news from over 35k curated sources, legislative and regulatory data, and houses an extensive directory of Government contacts. We connect all of this information to government spending data to help our clients understand what the impact Government activity will have on their business through with our proprietary analysis. What makes me unique to this role is my expertise having worked for The Federal Government, with The Government and with corporate clients over the past 4 years (first with a fast-growth law firm, and now with BGov). I've been helping our clients tackle the challenge of tracking Federal Government activity since July 2013 and, whilst I'm not at liberty to tell you who set up what, I can tell you how our clients (now over 40% of the F500) make sure they don't miss any Government action that will affect their business.
