For this private-public partnership, oversaw the creation of seminal sustainability guidelines for the 92-acre development known as Battery Park City. Work resulted in buildings and open space achieving the highest levels of sustainability by requiring such things as blackwater treatment, rainwater collection, cogen, fresh/filtered air, photovoltaics, and high energy savings. There are now over 15 projects in Battery Park City that have earned the highest levels of LEED certification, totalling over 5 million square feet. Show less
