  I have been practicing Landscape Architecture for 15 years with the last decade+ in the Blue Ridge Mountains and greater Commonwealth of Virginia. I specialize in outdoor livable spaces and creating places that are inspiring to be in. My work is taking on a sculptural hint. I provide designs for green/living roof planting, edible landscaping, and solutions that are parallel to Permaculture. I provide natural resource inventories, wetland delineations, and stream/ riparian restoration ideas using submeter GPS mapping technology. I provide site planning and master planning for local communities looking to preserve landscapes and heritage sites. I also assist local governments in planning for green infrastructure for parks and tree planting to reduce the heat island effects in cities. I strive to focus on the positive and emphasize sustainability. My solutions allow for cooperation and mutual understanding. I create places that express conscientious ecologically sensitive solutions (a.k.a. "green" alternatives). I prefer to provide solutions that are low impact to the earth and designs that work with locally available materials and resources.
