Linux server administration or Windows network administration is a natural skill that Sterling exercises with surgical precision. When it comes to creating and maintaining reliable business deployment environments, I can say with certainty that Sterling is the most talented person I have ever known. He is that guy that always has a long diverse line of people coming to him with all questions because his diverse skill set allows him to understand the systems that are in place, both how to build and deploy them, and how to debug and tune them. Sterling also posses a nice share of developer and scripting skills, along with a "first-class" Computer Engineering understanding of hardware.
