Jun 2021 - Apr 2023
I completed postdoctoral training at Duke University in the laboratory of Dr. David Kirsch. My research interests centered around animal models of sarcoma, fusion oncoproteins in sarcoma, and general themes of pediatric and comparative oncology. My postdoctoral project primarily focused on generating and characterizing the first mouse model of the rare CIC-DUX4 sarcoma. Additional work has included identification of human-similar fusion oncoproteins in canine sarcomas. Along with my scientific interests, I volunteered with childhood and adolescent cancer and sarcoma research and advocacy organizations. Show less
