I worked for Trent while I was a Legal Intern at an Oklahoma bank. I learned a great deal from this experience and that was, in large part, due to Trent. Trent is a dynamic attorney who brings a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape in areas of banking, real estate, in-house legal operations, transactional matters, and litigation. During discussions on matter concerning the bank, Trent presented strong analysis based on thorough legal research. His experience in private practice and the corporate environment have equipped him to be an instant value add to an organization. Trent was immensely generous with his time as I began my legal career. He offered his thoughtful advice on work product and the legal profession in a constructive and kind manner, providing me actionable recommendations and feedback. Trent encouraged my participation in meaningful bank matters and projects. I highly recommend Trent and consider myself fortunate to have him as a mentor in the legal profession.

I had the pleasure of working on the same floor as Trent for a total of five years. It's not often that commercial lending interacts with legal counsel, though at times it is needed. In such cases, Trent was quick to both grasp the issues or questions at hand and address them. Whether it be the drafting of complex contractual agreements or insight on hypothetical court processes, Trent was always able to sort me out. In addition to general counsel work, Trent seemed to have an understanding of a wide array of aspects of the legal system from prior legal work and personal study. Beyond his extreme competence and intelligence, Trent is uniquely patient and thorough, both attributes further enhancing his skillset as an attorney.
