For those that have had the pleasure of working with Robert know that he is a Technical Swiss Army knife of skill sets. You absolutely cannot last as long as Robert has in this business without being at the top of your field. I am happy to see Robert in a Management role, which in my opinion is much more important than a tech because he is responsible for passing the torch of wisdom to the next generation of technicians. I am happy to say that each one of them he is exposed to will be working with one of the best all around techs ...and a fine human being as well.

One of the most remarkable things about Bob Huskey is that he is impeccably calm throughout a production. No matter how tense things may get, Bob consistently manages to keep all the "balls in the air". At the most hectic of times, Bob is unwaveringly calm, professional and on-point. Bob has always been a thorough and detail oriented manager - from his days as Warehouse Manager at TAVS to his current role as General Manager for Evolve Media Group. I am always pleased to be working on a Huskey show because I know that all the technical areas have been well-planned in advance, especially the video production. This leaves me (and everyone else) free to do the job I was hired for. Bob Huskey is also a patient and knowledgable mentor, generous to share his years of experience. I manage the Orlando Rental and Staging operations for Strong. I am our Senior Project Manager on larger scale corporate or entertainment programs that take place anywhere in the U.S. and outside of the Country. I perform AutoCAD work for design and layout of all technical and room elements for events. Manage equipment scheduling and cross rentals when needed. Secure all labor for any event I am handling (freelance labor, local labor vendors and union). Do the travel arrangements for all staff when needed, and overall deal with any and all fires that might pop up.

Managed the Orlando Warehouse staff during the merger of TAVS / Caribiner / AVHQ and PSAV. We had a tremendous operation of over 80 staff that eventually was cut to less than 10. It was a VERY challenging position with a lot of great experience mixed in with some tough times. I moved on to Strong to get back into a more "Family" feel type of business. I held positions at Blumberg ranging from Warehouse technician, Director of AV for in house hotels, Operations Manager and finally Show Services Manager before we were purchased by Caribiner/AVHQ/PSAV. I made vast amounts of very good friends that are still good friends to this day. The saying "Those were the days" started in those days. These were the days of Multi-Image slide shows, Vivid Limelight projectors and a LOT of overheads and Flipcharts... :-) I held positions at Blumberg ranging from Warehouse technician, Director of AV for in house hotels, Operations Manager and finally Show Services Manager before we were purchased by Caribiner/AVHQ/PSAV.
