Performed construction tasks such as slab-on-grade formwork, wood framing, roofing, installing exterior siding, exterior trim, windows and doors, forming and finishing concrete countertops, custom steel shelving, and interior finishes.   Completed the design+build of a single-family residence, the COURhouse. The design team included six graduate students and one professor. The team facilitated design charrettes, met with potential clients, completed the design development, cost analysis, model-making, and graphic design for the project. Construction activities took place over a six-week summer course and included preparing foundations, completing advanced wood framing, installing exterior sheathing, and fabricating custom steel building components.
