Joseph is the best programmer I know personally. He has excellent work ethic and will not only be the first to arrive but will stay until everything meets his high standards. Working together as Instructors I also got to see Joe's patience and ability to explain very complex ideas to students. He will be an asset in any organization.

Joe has been one of the brightest graduate students whom I worked with. He is both brilliant and an extreme hard worker. He has tremendous ability as a programmer, designer, and teacher. His work on his PhD shows diligent ability to develop and design a successful tool for designers working on interactive entertainment productions. Also, his work with the gaming for girls initiative at Penn State (an initiative that tries to stimulate learning of computer science and math topics for middle school girls) shows great mentorship and teaching abilities.
