I had the pleasure of working with Surendra on the Solar Cell Integration team, where he was in charge of preparing photovoltaic inks and functionalising and manipulating semiconducting nanowires. Surendra showed outstanding commitment to the company research and was always willing to assist outside his direct responsibilities. Surendra was a great asset to the company through its straightforward communication and ability to question and share knowledge.

For a period of time in 2017, Surendra helped support a project we ran in my organization at Sol Voltaics. He stepped in as a expert chemist on surface and advanced materials modifications. He impressed with his goal delivery and responsiveness to changing circumstances and feed back from the device team - all in a project that was well outside of his normal comfort zone. Thank you for this chance to work together - hoping for more in the future!

Extensive research has been done on evaluation of surface defects in the lipid membranes of the liposomes. Evaluated kinetics of liposome - liposome fusion in related to the surface defects and their sizes. Involved in fabrication of liposomes that are loaded with fluorophores.
