Rich Ratcliff is a research leader with market leading strategic research operations capabilities. I was fortunate that after the sale of EKN Research to EnsembleIQ in 2016, Rich and I worked together to restructure, integrate and reinvigorate the retail and consumer goods IT research business for EnsembleIQ. Rich provided astute guidance and feedback at every step. He also let me manage my business and gave me every bit of support that I needed to re-build the research focus, supported me to build a team, and he helped ensure systems and operational integration with Carbonview Research. Together we created a strong research culture around the pillars of creating rich retail and CPG insights, deep customer engagement and a very profitable model. At an enterprise level, Rich was given the charge to re-structure several groups and he did an effective job under very challenging circumstances, pulling together ideas and actions. I would highly recommend Rich as a leader, peer and partner any day.

Rich was a highly-valued outside partner who help us grow revenue and profit over a 10-year period at TNS Landis. He and the team he led at CarbonView, provided excellent service and thought-leadership in the areas of technology, process efficiency, and industry best practices. I always felt they were as concerned about our bottom line as we were. The fact that his team performed so well is a tribute to his team building and leadership skills. When CarbonView was sold he led a seamless transition of our business to the new owners. Rich’s combination of deep industry and technical knowledge provided guidance that helped us overcome challenges in client services and business process. He was always aware of industry innovations and understood how they would affect our market; and how we could take advantage of them. I would highly recommend Rich to any firm in need of strong strategic leadership.

Carbonview Research focused on the Advertising Industry having worked with most of the top 10 agencies each year along with becoming the goto agency for any type of advertising research. Our value proposition focused on full service research with the speed needed for the agencies. Overall responsibility encompassed leading and growing the organization with 2012 focusing heavily on acquisition. During leadership of agency I was also responsible for staffing, employee relations, compensation, P&L responsibilities, Strategic growth, Organizational growth and development, internal and external communications. Carbonview had a distributed workforce so all responsibilities regarding WAH ethics, security and remote resource evaluation fell within my responsibilities as well. Externally facing responsibilities include client and opportunity cultivation, brand image, brand value, value proposition per client and situation given our custom capabilities
