The Maintenance Supervisor assists in overseeing the Maintenance Department in Calgary. This department supports all manufacturing equipment, support systems, labour and PM systems. I am responsible for all electrical controls, related components and building systems associated with the food manufacturing process. I mentor, support, train the growing staff and assist in troubleshooting of problems related to the bakery equipment and facility.• On-site management, training and mentoring of maintenance technicians• Work with other department managers to optimize uptime and efficiency• Project management of new installs and replacement of obsolete equipment• Troubleshooting plant issues with internal and external technicians• Continually improve the preventative maintenance programs• Manage monthly and annual budgets including employee evaluations• Scheduling staff and work orders to be performed• Train staff on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls and robotic systems• Using SAP to quote and order parts, projects and contractor services• Ensure plant personnel are following GMP’s, Personal and Food Safety rules• Promptly report and resolve food or safety hazards in the work environment• On-call 24/7, occasionally working nights or weekends as needed
