  I have worked primarily with our civil engineering team for 10 years, where my duties encompassed every step in the process of creating construction plan documents for land development related projects including residential and commercial. I would recommend minor design changes to Project Managers and/or Engineers. I mentored less experienced personnel and offered technical advice and knowledge to other techs and engineers in training, and anyone using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D at our office. I worked closely with Engineers and Project Managers to ensure that drawings are accurate and complete, assisting with QA/QC at times. I assisted with preparation of cost and quantity estimates, performed design calculations., and any other duties as assigned. I have worked for both the engineering team and the survey team since 2014, assisting in both departments, and have become more and more involved with our Survey team since that time, I have been involved in researching property information, deed sketches, plats, easements, legal descriptions, ALTAs, LTS, as-built surveys, and all types of deliverable documents under the RPLS director of the survey department. I am pursuing studies to become an SIT. I create and update written "how-to" processes for engineering and survey procedures, AutoCAD blocks, symbols, details, templates and other resources in our company electronic library. Show less
