It's great that Kallina is working for Intelligence Squared. Many people who want to represent their school or university in debating will be spurred on by her. As well as being a good coach, Kallina was a great president of Queen Mary's Debating Society. I really enjoyed working with her.

I wanted to carry on debating at QMUL so I joined the society. Kallina was there too. The truth was I was out of my depth in my first few sessions debating at university. My friends and Kallina really helped me get to grips with it. As the head of our society, Kallina really delivered in improving our reputation and our experience. She really motivated me to do my job. My job was first assistant to the treasurer and then treasurer for my final year. That was in 2007-08. I benefited from Kallina's help. It's great that she's helping others discover debating.
