Commencing with Integrated in 2006 as Risk Manager, following the merger with Programmed, I was promoted to the Group Risk Manager - Programmed, and later Commercial Manager of the workforce division. As a result of the merger, the Programmed Group was an ASX 300 Company with a revenue approaching $900million, and the leader in programmed maintenance service, facilities management and labour hire. Programmed were eventually acquired and privatised by Japanese group, Persol. During the role: - Implemented the groups risk framework in line with Australian standards and international best practice; - Moved the group to a position where it was not exposed to any liability outside of the insurance program and company risk appetite; and - Uncovered and led the correction of margin erosion that was occurring within the merged business.
