Out of 80 student members, Veronica was chosen to be a member of the semester for CPP PIHRA: Cal Poly Pomona's only Human Resources club on campus. She stood out to the executive board because of her willingness to participate and foster friendships within the club. Despite virtual circumstances, Veronica's bright personality and willingness to get out of her comfort zone permeated right through my computer screen. In any company that she works for, I am certain that this same personality will bring life to her coworkers as she did with our executive board. Undoubtedly, she is a natural leader in the ways that she set the standards of participation for our other members, and the executive board is lucky to have had her as a member of CPP PIHRA. She's pleasant to be around, team-oriented, driven, intuitive, experienced, and thoughtful - a combination that is extremely difficult to find. Working alongside her, you will quickly see what I mean. Her particular attention to detail is noteworthy, whether in her interpersonal relations, written work, or formal presentations. She also cares equally for her own work as she does for the well-being of her team-members. If anyone ever needed help, she always made time and provided great feedback as well! I've never seen her while working "on the job" per se, but working alongside her in college shows me how highly prepared and capable she truly is - it's probably why I wasn't too surprised to learn that she maintains leadership at work. Any organization would be lucky to have Veronica onboard. The combination of her work-ethic, intuition, and overall care is hard to come by.
