Over the past 14 years we were able to produce over 200,000 images and film clips which are available world-wide through over 80 resellers and on our self-engineered e-commerce platform. With over 170 photographers contributing content and our world-class team of creative directors, database / web engineers, distribution techs, and quality assurance professionals, Blend has created what is widely considered one of the top stock media collections in the market. Corbis was a commercial and editorial media licensing business wholly owned by Bill Gates (acquired by Visual China Group in 2015.) As Director of Photography, it was my responsibility to oversee all Royalty Free content development and product strategy. This included active management and budgeting for an active 30,000 sq. ft. production studio in Los Angeles, as well as art directing and producing motion and still content production at locations world-wide. Corbis was a commercial and editorial media licensing business wholly owned by Bill Gates (acquired by Visual China Group in 2015.) As Director of Photography, it was my responsibility to oversee all Royalty Free content development and product strategy. This included active management and budgeting for an active 30,000 sq. ft. production studio in Los Angeles, as well as art directing and producing motion and still content production at locations world-wide.

Digital Stock was a pioneer in digital stock media content. With the first ever commercial license to use Kodak Photo C.D. for commercial image distribution, Digital Stock and PhotoDisc (Seattle, WA) created what is today referred to as Royalty Free stock imagery. As the second senior level hire, my position was to oversee all content acquisition, digitization, and product creation as well as to provide network support to both the creative and sales teams. I was also very actively involved in overall business development and ultimately exit strategy.
