  My role as a Sign Artist and Visual Artist at Trader Joe's involves many different facets of branding and product merchandising. All signage and displays are done by hand lettering using different mediums such as paint pens, acrylic paint, spray paint, paper, foam core, wood etc. I create 3D displays for promotional products as well as paint in store murals. Beyond the scope of hands on artwork, my role also requires managing the art department for the entire store. This includes communicating with managers and crew about upcoming signage, organizing & storing artwork as well as daily managing on floor signs. This job has given be experience time management, collaborating with other store artists, practical artistic ability and department management.



Touch Nepal Inc.

  Touch Nepal Inc. is a non-profit that works hand-in-hand with indigenous Nepali Pastors & leaders who serve the needs of their local communities. We work with a leper colony, a children's home, a tutoring school that provides education for at risk youth, provided college education for emerging leaders and have pastoral training for remote villages. My role with Touch Nepal involves visiting Nepal and the people we support over there as well as managing our social media presence. I create social media posts and email blasts and manage donor contact and information using excel and other programs.

  As a staff member working at Youth With A Mission I worked with a team managing a religious based studies school for international students. I was an assigned counselor for four students, managed the hospitality department for students and staff, organized weekend outdoor adventure excursions for over thirty students and taught on specific curriculum topics. I also created and managed an itinerary for twelve students and three staff members that involved living in India and Fiji for three months at a time. During our time in India and Fiji we worked alongside ministries that served their local community. As the lead staff for both teams I delegated and cared for the needs of the students and worked closely with the local Indian and Fijian leaders who hosted us.

I was required to have up-to-date knowledge of current & seasonal fashion trends, how to probably size clothing and understanding of the quality materials used in the shoes etc. I worked as a sales associate in Nordstrom's women's and salon shoes department and seasonally within menswear and active wear.
