Joab is an all around great person. As cliche as that sounds, he truly is. Let me explain: His work as a photographer is pristine-- His eyes catch things people usually don't. The pictures he captures are unique and thought-provoking. Even if it is a short 90 second news story, he doesn't just show something, he lets the viewer experience the story. He has a very creative mind... not too crazy though, because he never missed a deadline. He is always courteous and polite -- In situations when talking to subjects are tough (ie, a victim's family) Joab finds a way to their heart. His warm ability to get people to open up to him is incredible. He once did this for me for a Spanish speaking family, I never would have been able to communicate with, had it not been for Joab. He cares-- He cares about his job, his co-workers, and his family. If you want a sloppy employee who just goes through the motions, Joab is not it. He cares, and I think that is his best asset.
