14 bridges over rivers and railroads and more than 100 culverts were designed using a computer (using Midas Civil) or by hand (using spreadsheets). The steel I-girder and steel narrow box girder bridges are the two main bridge types. The longest bridges are the steel I-girder and the steel narrow box girder bridges, whose maximum spans measure 87.0 and 53.0 meters, respectively. 35.0m and 36.0m PSC I-girder bridges were also designed. The design of 9700m bridges to Matarbari Port Access Road, including Kohelia River Bridge (1417 m), Moheshkhali Channel Bridge (1452 m), and Railway Underpass Bridge Concurrent River Bridge (1414 m) to the National Highway (N1) is included. The longest bridges are the steel narrow box girder and I-girder bridges.
