I have never met a person as knowledgeable and efficient as Laura. I had the pleasure of working with her as a direct report for four years at JEA. Laura is hands on and strives to help her team achive their goals. Always impressed me her ability to lead the team to meet our deadlines, and her problem solving skills. I definitely miss working with her. Any company will be lucky to have her on their team.

On more than one occasion I encountered a situation where I had a strong feeling something was amiss but I just couldn't connect all of the financial dots. I always knew exactly who I could turn to.....Laura. I could present complex problems and where I often struggle with conveying my thoughts and questions in a way that isn't met with a frustrated party at the other end. Laura always met me with courtesy and respect. As an adult that has knowledge, skills, and abilities but also has challenges that are invisible to the eye...you see who really treats you as an equal and who puts you to the side. We are all different and we all learn in varying ways. In my personal experiene with Laura - in addtion to being exceptionally gifted in her financial knowledge, she has ALWAYS displayed patience and understanding which isn't something you can learn from a textbook. Thank you for the gift of the time I was able to interact with you and receive guidance and knowledge and assistance from you. I know you will be a gift to others as well.
