I worked with Lydia for over a year at Fight Bladder Cancer. She worked tirelessly to drive the charity's policy, awareness, and patient support work forward, and made a big effort to make me feel part of the team as a part time freelancer. Her knowledge of cancer and experience with public policy on international stages gave the charity a real credibility and voice to make change.

I had a privilege to work with Lydia when she was a Director of the European Cancer Patient Coalition, while I performed my duties as organisation’s Partnerships & Communication Manager under her direct supervision. Lydia was never a boss, but a leader and a good listener with a solid knowledge, deep understanding of the eco-system we worked in and, most importantly, undivided attention she gave to each of the team members. I was particularly impressed by Lydia’s cross-functional expertise which enabled her to deliver a holistic leadership. I hope our professional paths will cross again.
