MMM is an international NGO created in 1947 to raise awareness of policy makers and public opinion of the contribution of mothers to social, cultural and economic development. With no political or religious affiliations, we transparently voice the concerns of mothers at the international level with permanent representation at the United Nations (General Consultative Status), UNESCO and the European Union. Our backbone is an expanding network of around 40 grass-roots organisations working across the world to support and empower mothers and their families, and to advance the human rights of women and children. From the fight against maternal mortality to social protection, family policies, the impact of early childhood development, single mothers and homelessness and work life balance, our mission is to connect, facilitate and amplify the voices of mothers wherever they may be, working with them to bring about change.
