I had the opportunity to work with Roland on dozens of business development technology reviews for Orthofix. His thoughtful and analytical understanding of the technologies we reviewed, his relationships with key surgeons, and his analytical skillset helped identify all necessary value drivers for our modeling and commercialization efforts. His understanding of the likely distribution of input variables, monte carlo simulations, and sensitivities in our DCF modeling allowed us to negotiate the best deals possible, while protecting downside risk for the company.
