The Society of Neuro-Oncology (SNO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing multidisciplinary brain tumor research. SNO's mission is to lead in collaboration to discover and improve patient care through education and discovery. My role as the Event Support Specialist includes the coordination of multiple events per annual meeting SNO hosts throughout the year. The attendee's experience per meeting/event is my highest priority from the minute they enter into the conference, through the receptions, galas, after parties, and interactive activities. I work closely with the logistics team to organize vendors and plan upcoming events throughout the United States and Canada. Internally, I am the go to gal for each pre-planning trip coordinated, from festive activities in the area to organizing networking dinners. I also support the Wellness Committee to provide helpful information throughout the year and at each meeting held to better the health and wellness of attendees and SNO members. Show less

    • Event Planner
      • Dec 2018 - May 2022

Starting from the initial hello at a venue tour to being paired as a couple's go to gal (their planner), all the way to the end of a couple's wedding day and beyond, Chestnut Ridge exceeds all expectations! As the Lead Planner I helped to fully create and build the CR Planning portion of the business from the ground up. Also, I created A La Carte packages to assist in the development and growth of the wide range of opportunities CR has to offer couples. As the Lead Wedding Planner + Designer, I oversee a large vendor team, manage over 30 couples per year, negotiate contracts, implement detailed timelines, and build the brand of CR. Designing custom events based one decor, floral, details, etc for every couple is one of my specialties and passions. As the Venue Manager, I oversee all potential inquires, assistant in the booking process, create custom proposals + invoices, manage packages, and create yearly upgrades to gain additional profit for the venue.
