The product was designed to aggregate, route, and transform a high volume of requests at low latency while optimizing for the best user experience - The ePA product was responsible for collecting, transforming, sending and receiving multipart electronic prior authorizations (ePA) transactions with integrated Payer partners. Each transaction represents a patient’s attempt to obtain medication and requires a high level of data integrity and system reliability - My teams worked with many large Payer clients to integrate our systems in support of the RTBC and ePA products - I helped to lead the stabilization of a rapidly growing software platform by focusing teams on risk and incident management, capacity planning, proactive maintenance and SDLC best practices - I represented CoverMyMeds in healthcare industry standards organizations such as the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) and HL7 through participation in weekly calls and quarterly meetings - I helped to spearhead the reorganization of engineering and product teams to re-align focus on business priorities - I developed and promoted many new leaders through mentoring and coaching activities - Technology and tools included: Ruby, Rails, React, Postgres, git, Docker, Splunk, Sentry, New Relic, Puppet, Jenkins, FHIR
