Manage accounting and company finance for a multi-generational, multi-location family business serving small batch gourmet ice cream and New York-style artisan pizza. Sustained profitability throughout economic, social, and political distress experienced in 2020 following the tragic events surrounding George Floyd’s homicide and the Covid-19 pandemic.Analyzed the local market and economic climate to develop a diversification strategy that expanded brand recognition and established multiple corporate revenues streams through brick-and-mortar stores, wholesale opportunities, and vendor operations. Negotiated contracts to sell product in more than fifty grocery stores throughout Minneapolis. Co-own a third retail location at Potluck Food Hall, Minnesota’s first local-only food hall; received recognition as Vendor of the Year every year since 2019, outselling high-profile restauranteurs and celebrity-chef owned food retailers. Secured a three-year contract with Allianz Field to serve as the exclusive ice cream vendor for Minnesota United FC with customized Loons dessert. Directed all three Sub-S Corporations through a lengthy and in-depth Sales and Use Tax audit conducted by the state of Minnesota, closing in 2021 with below average liability.

Spearhead development and startup operations to empower behavioral health practitioners, including recent graduates, to become entrepreneurs and open their own medical practices. Offer administrative and front/back of house services to practitioners with access to services such as coders, medical billing, scribes, schedulers, licensing, credentialing, patient referral, and TMS equipment so that individuals who lack access to essential behavioral health services, especially in rural areas, can use telehealth to see practitioners that are typically only found in major cities or large healthcare networks. Practitioners gain full autonomy of the interventions and medications to prescribe so they are no longer limited by restrictive formularies, treatments, and scheduling. Pitched startup to CIO and the Board of Directors at Cedars-Sinai Hospital; currently onboarding and mentoring new practitioners that strive to offer cutting edge treatments and desire to operate a medical practice.

Identified a consumer need in the local niche market delivering seasonal skincare services; oversaw all startup and day-to-day operations to include administration, customer service, marketing, advertising, accounting, human resources, procurement, reporting, budgeting, and P&L.Timed grand opening to coincide with the start of the winter season and leveraged minimized exposure to daylight (only 7 hours/day) to promote spa memberships and services, exceeding forecasted sales projections. Designed a sustainable organizational structure by defining roles and responsibilities and mapping out operational processes; efforts led to the profitable sale of the business in 2008.
