Accountant & Trust Administrator

Jul 2008 - Jul 2015
I dealt with all of our trust account tasks but also with our general operating accounting as well. I handled all of the payroll tasks including the taxes, and take care of the accounts payable responsibilities. I made end of the month and end of the year adjusting entries, and did all of the account reconciliations. I spent a lot of time on the client trust account. I managed the account to the bar specificiations, and did all of the required monthly reconciliations, for each individual sub account as well as the for the account as a whole. Show less

Accounts Receiable & Inventory Manager
-
Jan 2006 - May 2008
My responsibilities included general accounts receivable duties, including communication with customers that were behind with their payments and trying to set up payment plans for them to pay off their balances. I lowered uncollectible accounts receivable by 22% by actively managing all open receivables. Inventory management was another facet of my position. I implemented a new inventory system that improved the efficiency of parts ordering, allowing for the majority of purchasing to be done through bulk orders because of improved estimates of part sales for future periods. I was also able to reduce their obsolescent parts inventory by tracking superficial part number changes and updating the inventory system to accommodate these changes. Show less

I dealt with customers of the Marcus Amphitheater during their entertainment evenings. If there were problems with their seats or problems of any kind I dealt with them. I also worked with the handicapped customers of the Marcus Amphitheater to make sure their experience was as pleasant as possible, and to make sure they were able to enjoy the full experience, including making sure they had uninterrupted site-lines. I worked with the customers of the PAC as they were attending the symphony, the opera, a Broadway show, or the ballet. I assisted them with their tickets, and would help them with finding their seat. I also tried to address any problems they had with any other employees or with their experience overall.
