I work as an Account Manager for Adessi, an award winning Marketing and PR agency with offices in Newcastle and Leeds. My role as Events Manager is outsourced to a number of clients, principally Awarding Body NCFE. I'm responsible for researching, designing and producing NCFE's programme of events. Opening of The Sage Gateshead - December 2004: - Was a member of the planning committee for the public opening of the building, attending weekly meetings and feeding back information to my department - Produced briefing manuals for staff working on the opening weekend - Fire marshal and duty manager in the Music Education Centre over opening weekend. This involved trouble shooting and managing logistics on the day such as artist set-up, audience safety, technical and catering requirements.
