As the marketing coordinator, I maintain complete oversight of CRI's social media presence (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) as well as CRI's CRM system for donor maintenance. My role also entails creating graphics (posters, flyers, etc) to be distributed electronically through our email list as well as in print for fundraising purposes. I also assist with researching across social media on various topics, such as compiling FAQ questions for the American Coalition for Ocean Protection's website.

During my internship with the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, I strengthened my graphic design and marketing skills. I spearheaded the 2022 Lifeguard Awards to honor the 8 patrols within the Quiet Resorts jurisdiction, creating the branding and media for the event (logo, flyer, event program, Facebook web banner, website ad box design, event signage, thank you cards, etc). With this event, I also crafted correspondences to dignitaries, sponsors, and guests, as well as event press releases to the public. I also designed all media for a new Chamber event “Show + Grow” including the event logo, flyer, post card, and “passport” (a rack card with vendor check-off list for a raffle). With this project, I worked alongside the Membership Chair on developing marketing strategies for the event with the dual purpose of re-engaging current members while also reaching prospective businesses as well. In addition to those two big projects, in my day to day work, I crafted various media (flyers, logos, ad sales pamphlets, microsite event boxes, web banners, etc) using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) for the Quiet Resorts 2023 Discover Guide and other Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce events including the 2022 Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival, the 2023 Ocean to Bay Bike Tour, and 2023 Fire & Ice Festival. Following each event, I translated event statistics into a more visual pamphlet so everyday supporters of the Chamber could understand the economic impact of our efforts on the community. I also designed several print and digital ads using my own photography for The Quiet Resorts, which have been featured in the September Edition of Southern Living Magazine, Coastal Living, and local newspapers. I drafted our weekly “E-Currents” and monthly “Currents” newsletters to Chamber members with articles on monthly events, listed town council meetings, and other relevant information using Constant Contact.
