I also work closely with the counseling department in fostering a college going culture at the high school. • Support and monitor the progress of alumni via NSC data and enrollment reports • Develop, implement and coordinate projects/plans to support alumni • Serve as the liaison between alumni, current high school students, and college administration • Check-in with alumni via on campus visits, text, phone, and email • Develop plans of action with alumni returning to school or transferring • Assist with obstacles first-year students face • Work with the college counseling department in preparing seniors to transition into college • Facilitate workshops that that promote college readiness and understanding • Oversee summer college preparation programs for rising juniors and seniors

The Lake County FAFSA Campaign is the coalition of different high schools and community organizations that come together and offer different financial aid application workshops for students in the Lake County area. The first year I worked as a volunteer and currently I am the Volunteer Coordinator. My responsibilities include: recruiting volunteers, coordinating with site managers and scheduling volunteers for the various workshops the organization offers.
