Graphic Designer. Design and create graphics, logos, banners, calendars, cd covers, business cards and more. For Quality yearbooks, of the business, I designed and recreated yearbook covers, placed photos, did alignment adjustments and final setup in Photoshop InDesign CS4 for print. Programs used were on Mac: Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe InDesign CS3, Adobe InDesign CS4, set imposition in InDesign and create job to send to HP Digital Printing press. Used shutterstock.com images along with client’s personal images or photos. Photography editing such as lighting and red eye. Lumapix yearbook program was used on Windows XP, in which I learned to set up a basic yearbook and populate it with student’s pictures. As well as add graphics and designs. I used frames and canvas effects. I created graphics in CS3, on Mac, which I saved as .jpg for the Lumapix. I, then, used the network to transfer the file to the Windows machine where I navigated to it and then applied in Lumapix to use it in the yearbook. I was not assigned to do so but I organized office supplies and graphic files on the computer. The boss was impressed and my fellow graphic design co-worker thanked me for doing so. I, also, kept Microsoft Excel 2010 records of all the work I did for the company and kept track of clients records for future employed workers.
