Chris joined our team during a crisis and he amazed everyone with his ability to jump right in, keep his cool and produce great results in the midst of all the chaos. He then grew to be an amazing engineering manager, attracting the best talent from across the company to join his team while at the same time delivering on very challenging projects. He excels at leading complex projects that require cross -functional and cross-team collaboration. It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with him.

I had the opportunity to work with Chris when he took over the Domain Tech Lead role for Merchant risk domain. He ramped up really fast on the domain and delivered high quality products on schedule. Chris is an excellent teammate, great communicator and can bring consensus among various domain and x-vertical teams. He has in depth knowledge of the areas he owned and did not hesitate a bit to get his hands dirty and deep dive to fix bugs. It was a real pleasure working with him and delivering great product with a great team effort from both PD and QA perspective. I wish Chris well and would highly recommend for any challenging technical position

The other half of my time was spent in the Java stack developing libraries to provide service to service authentication and access control.

I spent my first years at Paypal on the Merchant team, a rapidly growing team which focused on growing Paypal's presence off eBay. I developed features in C++ varying from consumer web checkout flows, merchant integration tools, and externally facing Platform API's. Including a Button factory “buy now” which included a web flow for small business owners and an API for medium to large merchants.
