Dr. Jonathan De Giovanni joined EMD Advocates in July 2008 and was admitted to the Bar in 2010. He held the position of Manager and Tax Consultant, managing the International Tax Department and Aviation Law Department within EMD Advisory Services Limited and EMD Advocates respectively. He provided high level tax planning advice to the firm’s international client base, in relation to complex cross border operations in which Maltese corporate and non corporate vehicles are employed in a tax efficient manner. At EMD Jonathan also managed the private clients department which is a specialist arm within the tax department that caters for ultra high net worth and high net worth individuals. Jonathan advises clients who are seeking to obtain Maltese residency, both from an immigration and tax perspective.
