During the recession of the early 1900's handled the undisputed wind-down of the corporation. CFO duties included the traditional scope of the position including: Business budgeting and development. Negotiations. Staff over-site. Acquisition analysis. Shareholder, Corporate Secretary and on Board of Directors. After completing the management training program I worked and learning with a great staff in the Commercial Loan Department and the main branch. Soon I was promoted to a Branch Manager. Uncovered non-complying loan discrepancies in time to save the bank from potential losses, grew customers newly opened branch, inherited a portfolio of delinquent loans and brought the percentage past due well below bank average through customer relationship building. Volunteer missionary service. After two month intense language training went to Tokyo and the surrounding area as a missionary. Started and established congregations in many new areas. Responsibilities included: training other missionaries, teaching, finding, and office duties such as international travel arrangements, supplying over 50 different sites with materials, publishing and writing newsletters and medical or other emergency management as required.
