During the last 6 years I've had the opportunity to service Siemens Radiotherapy Equipment; I’ve worked in the Installation of at least five Linear Accelerators for Radiotherapy including models Primus, Oncor and Artiste. I've accomplished mechanical and electrical installations, including base frame install align and leveling, as well as mechanical and electrical installation of Primus Linear Accelerator, setup of Welhöffer and PTW scanning systems, I’ve worked in the scanning and followed the Acceptance Test Protocol. I’ve followed and helped in the commissioning procedure for Primus/Oncor Linacs in collaboration with IBA personnel and Physicists in hospitals. I’ve performed Beam Alignment procedures for Oncor/Primus and performed Precision Treatment Table Alignment; I also helped with an upgrade from an 82leafs MLC to 160leafs MLC. I have done service for 7 years for Artiste/Oncor/Primus Linacs, and some older machines like Mevatron 74 or Mevatron MD, during which I've had performed the change of klystrons, pulse tanks, and injectors in different machines doing service for Linacs in Mexico and Central America I’ve had the experience also of changing a Waveguide in collaboration with Factory personnel. Apart from Linear Accelerators, since I started in Siemens Healthcare I could learn and work with Ultrasound systems from the G and X families and Antares Systems, doing preventive and corrective maintenance, I have also recently learned from Computed Tomography systems from the Definition Family including carbon brush slipring and silver brush slipring systems; I also have been helping in servicing MRI, and X-Ray systems; and I'm looking forward to get certification in these systems too. They offered me a position in the 3 divisions at the end of my internship so I could decide which division was better for my career, and I decided to accept the offer in Healthcare doing as Customer Services Engineer.
