Indoor Surveillance robot project, 09/2014 – 4/2016 Mobile surveillance robot has been used as an effective security system for indoor scenarios. The Robotino® mobile robot platform is equipped with several sensors, a camera, and wireless connectivity, as well as simulation software. Brief video introduction on the project can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Sr7w-Xp9qQ •Autonomous navigation using IR sensors utilizing mathematical and logical operations to enable the Robotino to navigate in any building. •Face detection and movement detection using MatLab to enhance the security level for a dynamic or static robot position. •Anti-Tampering system to secure the robot’s camera, sensors or its movement from any external abuses and sending alerts locally to the system or by emails Show less

Building reports form data gathered from one source (normally Google spreadsheet) and entered into company's website database through a backend control panel, adding comments or even actual articles to the site. Furthermore, make presentation about the data, amounts to give the employees an actual meaning of these data. • Sharpened proficient use of Microsoft Office programs Word, Outlook and Excel. • Heavily used Google Sheets, IBM Notes (Lotus) and SAP. My assigned tasks was building an assessment to check the stability of an image processing algorithm which determines the orientation of the head, torso and the legs, which are then compiled for the pedestrian protection system. The accident or near accident scenarios we already made and defined, in which the detection of these features will be examined. This explicitly includes the recognition of partially hidden pedestrians (e.g. people standing behind a car). After this the assessment function is required to do the quality measurement which describes the performance of the algorithm with an exact numbers, statistics and then draw graphs to figure out where the weak points of the algorithm were, and then find out whether we can improve it to get a perfect result, or if there was a problem in the concept of the algorithm itself. I had several tasks oriented on the following points; on the setup of testing cars for the LT-Z-3 team, to check the connection between all the sensors in the car, the reliability of these sensors and the validity of the data that are being sent. In addition to that, I joined the team in the events and conferences to arrange and prepare the tested car for Demo scenes and of course do all what was required to have successful results. The task included finding the external and the internal quantities of the camera that affect the imaging process. Camera calibration is a very necessary step in 3D computer vision for many reasons, which can summed up to be: ★ It is essential in many applications to get rid of the radial distortion which can happen because of the pose of the camera. ★ For recovering the 3D quantitative measures simply by using a normal 2D image. ★ By using a calibrated camera, we can find new data such as the height of the object compared to the ground, the distance between the object and the camera or to another object, etc. Show less
