The project involved writing numerical code to analyse how the star light received from many different stars varies over time in an attempt to detect the presence of planets. Should a planet pass between us and their star, a portion of the star light is blocked resulting in a dip light. This project involved writing codes in Fortran, IDL, Matlab, and Mathematica to detect such events.
