Graham supported me in finding, interviewing for and securing my current role within Partnerships and Philanthropy at Crisis. Graham was a fantastic support throughout this process, going above and beyond to ensure I was as prepared as possible for the recruitment process and continued to check in as I entered my new role.

Daisy Powling

In the short time we worked together it was clear that Graham was passionate about philanthropy. He has a lot of fundraising experience, and was always willing to share his knowledge with others. It was testament to his relationship-building skills that he stayed in touch with several influential donors from previous roles. He was a supportive team-player and could always find a positive spin in a challenging situation.

    • Carer for my octogenarian Mum with dementia
      • Jan 2020 - Mar 2023

My octogenarian Mum was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago and subsequently other life limiting conditions. Watching your loved ones gradually disappear, often over a prolonged period of time, because of this evil disease is heartbreaking. Much more needs to be done to support all those living with dementia and those providing 24/7 care, often in their own homes and with limited, if any assistance, from social services. I am very proud of how stoical, philosophical and determined Mum was and glad to have had the opportunity to spend some precious time with her in her last few years. Show less

Almost 200 years old, ZSL has 50 conservation projects around the world and is a leader in its field of science and research, as well as being home to many fascinating animals and creatures at ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos. I took voluntary redundancy at the end of December 2019 to care for my octogenarian Mum who has advancing dementia and other life limiting conditions. Show less
