I have had a chance to work with Alina during my time as a Deputy Minister for Economy of Armenia, as well as during my short tenure at the World Bank. Alina is a strong international development professional with excellent project management and communications skills. She was instrumental in ensuring the success of a high-level international conference, the target audience of which included senior-level policy makers, of ministerial level. Alina’s engaging personality, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured not only that the Minister and our delegation benefited from the World Bank’s dynamic interaction, but also that the overall discussions and bilateral meetings were conducted smoothly and were extremely relevant for future policy engagements and Armenia’s impressive innovation agenda. Alina’s participation in these meetings was instrumental in conveying World Bank’s international role in promoting innovation in the ECA region, as well as in advancing technical dialogue regarding the innovation agenda for Armenia. As a result of these initial engagements and subsequent discussions, Armenia had expressed interest to serve as the next host of the Knowledge Economy Forum and to pursue its collaboration with the World Bank in the innovation sphere.

Alina has many qualities that make her a valuable asset in the workplace. She is detail-oriented, focused, reliable, and has a keen intellect. I would love the chance to work with her again. Though we worked on different teams, she was always willing to assist me. I highly recommend Alina.
