Building on my successful experience at Bridger CrossFit which culminated in selling the gym in 2012, I began coaching other CrossFit gym owners to start and grow their own businesses. As an online business, growing Level 2 Business Consulting from just a few clients that sought me out for my expertise, to a consulting business complete with group coaching programs as well as 1-on-1 consulting and VIP days, I learned a lot about successful marketing and B2B sales. As a part of my marketing plan, I sought counsel in copywriting skills, design, website construction, and response marketing techniques. To improve sales, I mentored with the best masters of sales to learn the ins and outs of sales conversations and converting leads to paying clients. While I enjoyed helping others, I learned after a couple of years of business that I preferred working with clients in a different capacity, so I stopped taking new clients and slowly transitioned into other work. I co-founded and grew a successful CrossFit gym in Bozeman. As young entrepreneurs, we started with a barebones budget and clientele, and grew our business over 2000% over the next 2-3 years. We prided ourselves with hiring from within and training our employees to be the best coaches around. Many of my former coaches have since gone on to open their own highly successful CrossFit gyms. As a part of our leadership, we founded the first state-wide and regional CrossFit-style competition which served as a model for other gyms to start their own successful events. In 2012, I successfully exited the gym and moved on to other things.
