It is a community where members can come together and have a voice, a place to share safety concerns and collaborate on research. We encourage active participation from all members who share our view that motorsport should and can be safer. The Foundation will undertake initiatives to amend the safety issues that have been brought to our attention, as well as those we find throughout our own research. MSF was founded in honor of Sean Edwards, a professional race car driver who tragically died while coaching from the passenger seat at an Australian racetrack. Sean crashed into a reinforced concrete wall that was not properly equipped with the minimum safety barriers to dissipate the impact. It is issues like these that MSF will work to change: fixable problems that can prevent another driver, crew marshal, or even fan from serious injury or death. MISSION / VISION Motorsport Safety Foundation was created to unite the racing community under a single purpose of improving the safety standards in all forms of motorsport. OUR GOALS The foundation will also address the growing problem of fragmented groups that are in need to have their ideas consolidated in one transparent place, facilitating all participants with access to an open forum where they will be able to express their safety concerns all with the objective to: -Promote motorsport safety education and awareness -Create an online motorsport database of safety specialists and organizations -Build a fundraising platform for safety related projects -Collaborate with accredited safety research entities -Give drivers and participants a transparent network to voice their concerns -Provide solutions to the safety issues from within our network Show less

Scot has spent the last 20 years in the motorsports business working as an Executive, Engineer and Race Official. He has been the project leader/designer for 4 different open wheel racecars, been an Executive with 2 different racing series, worked as a Team Race Engineer and still works in the motorsports industry as a consultant. His passion for music began at a young age but until recently he has not had the time to pursue this passion. He finally fulfilled a longtime dream of learning to play the guitar. Of course having a mechanical background he wanted to learn about the set-up and maintenance of the instrument. He did this by attending as many “set-up and repair workshops” that he could and using technology to increase the pace of his learning. All of this led to a greater desire to work on guitars rather than play them. And thus TEG – Guitar Repair Services was born. Scot has trained extensively under guitar repair legend John Levan in Nashville and is a Taylor Guitars Factory Authorized Service Technician. With an engineers approach and an artists hand Scot will perform repairs on your instrument as if it were his own. All work is performed by Scot directly, he is the only one taking care of “your baby”. We offer excellent workmanship at VERY reasonable prices. This business is an extension of a passion for Scot and not one in which he relies on to pay the bills. So we are able to charge much less for our work. All work is guaranteed to your satisfaction or you simply don’t pay. Show less
