Both FOX and Sunoco are strategic NASCAR partners. As a result, Nancy and I both served together as our company's representatives and we often found ourselves discussing and tackling similar issues as we looked to maximize the value of the NASCAR relationship for our organizations. In addition, my company was a FOX advertiser and I would speak with her seeking advice related to our annual TV buy. Nancy is very easy to work with. She is smart and straightforward, as well as, strategic and understands how the pieces fit together at a macro level - across partners, within FOX and then always considers what the NASCAR fan and TV viewers are seeking. This insight and ability to connect the dots allows her to be creative and solution-oriented. This skill is invaluable when you are navigating a world that can be as complicated as an official partnership at a major league sport. I often found myself bouncing ideas off Nancy that were sometimes unrelated to normal company business. She always provided thoughtful advice and may times from a position I did not consider. This ability to think holistically AND from all viewpoints is why Nancy has my respect. Also, Nancy has the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced world like television that demands results and is constantly being measured.
