Creating posters, postcards and ads for each production. Serving as a liaison between the theater and all media outlets (ie: News-Press, Island Sun, Islander, The Happenings, ect.). In charge of writing and sending out weekly press releases, organizing press shots for each show and maintaining/updating our website. Also responsible for creating and sending out a weekly newsletter to 500+ members using Constant Contact. Creating the pagination and final product/updating our playbill which consists of 70+ glossy pages of information, ads, and promotions. Tasks also included creating and maintaining the theater’s Facebook page, archiving promotional and theater-related articles/videos/photos, serving as a contact point for actors and volunteers and attending all Chamber of Commerce meetings.
