Tessa is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is organized, responsible and efficient at everything she does, and approaches every project with a great attitude. As a Story Director, Tessa inspires all of her students with her deep love and knowledge of writing techniques. Children naturally respond to her prompts with enthusiasm and pride as she helps them feel respected and valued as creators in the space.

It was a complete joy to work with Tessa at Yahoo! When the company was still building up their shopping site, we collaborated in the design and requirements of several verticals, (gifts & flower, home & garden, seasonal gift center) and various promotional merchandising pages. Tessa always provided clear and comprehensive creative briefs, and is a great communicator and a listener. She is smart, hardworking and always calm and collected. I would not hesitate to work with her again.

Written Out Loud is a storytelling space for artistic, creative kids from across the country. The storytellers get together in a writers' room environment and present original story ideas. As the session progresses, original story sparks are blended together to form a single narrative. Each session ends with a published book co-authored by the storytellers. Currently the Story Director for the 7th and 8th grades at Pilgrim School, where the class is taught in-person.
