Kevin was a student of mine in the Leadership and Ethics class that is a core class for the Texas Tech MBA program. The mantra in this class is that it is not enough to evaluate whether an issue is morally right or wrong; a manager needs to be proactive and create alternatives that sustain/improve good situations and correct/mitigate those that are morally wrong. In both team assignments and individual assignments, Kevin excelled in analyzing ethical and moral dilemmas, creating strategic alternatives that addressed the ethical issues and the realities of the organization's vision and mission. In the team assignments it was obvious that Kevin employed leadership skills and was a key player in the team's success. I would heartily recommend Kevin for any position that encompasses a need for critical analysis and complete team commitment and engagement. His skills will contribute to maximizing the performance of the extended group.
