Dr. Spandan was my team leader at the Emory Biotech Consulting Club (see link below). Our team of five consulted for Migra Therapeutics, a startup developing anti-cancer nanoparticles. We worked with Migra for five months to move their technology from preclinical to clinical studies and develop a scheme for company structure and funding. As our team leader, Dr. Spandan demonstrated admirable business development and interpersonal skills. Dr. Spandan from the beginning assessed our client's needs and outlined our deliverables. In managing his team, he trained us, organized regular meetings, made communication among the team very easy, was always positive and motivational, and agreed with each of us on regular deadlines for submitting our deliverables. At meetings with our client he presented our work with enthusiasm and addressed any changes to our client's needs. Our team was very diverse -- not only in personalities but in expertise -- and Dr. Spandan communicated effectively with everyone and on all topics: finance, regulatory, venture capital, pharmacology, and legal. After working with our client, Dr. Spandan stayed in touch with me and has been an amazing mentor. He has played a major role in helping me achieve my professional goals, and I am very grateful to him. I would be very excited to work with Dr. Spandan again! https://scholarblogs.emory.edu/ebcc/projects/program-projects-spring-2019/

Dr. Spandan Chennamadhavuni worked as a TA in the Organic Chemistry Lab program at University at Buffalo. He has worked as a TA for CHE 201 (Fall 2005 and 2006), CHE 202 (Spring 2006 and 2007). A review of Spandan’s teaching evaluations indicates his popularity as a teaching assistant. As the organic lab coordinator who spends a lot of time working closely with teaching assistants, I would like to offer my observations of Spandan. I found him to be a hard working teaching assistant who was willing to assist his students in every possible way. He was always prepared for his recitations and appeared as someone who enjoyed teaching. I had a very good working relationship with Spandan; I would describe him as a true professional. I would place him among the top TA’s that have worked in our program. Spandan received "Mattern-Tyler Excellence in Teaching Award" in his first year as TA itself. It was given as a recognition of his exceptional competence in teaching sophomore organic chemistry to undergraduate students.
