• Report to Marina Manager at location. • As Flotilla Leader with a RYA Coastal Skipper, I was responsible for 2 crew members & upto a maximum of 60 guests and 16 yachts ? • Briefing clients on deck & internal yacht set up, advising on safety & yacht systems, available 24/7, briefings on local area, chart reading & advising on sailing techniques. • Responsible for flotilla fleet presentation & their working order. • General maintenance of the fleet from 28 to 40 feet including GRP repairs. • Winter work; one of a team to de-rig the fleet end of the season, load onto containerships in the Mediterranean, off load in the Caribbean, rig the vessels (I headed the build & fitting of furling gear on approximately 30 sailing yachts) & delivered several yachts throughout the Caribbean.
