In the past 6 months I was Kostas's manager at Intel VLSI CAD division, where I am working as a group leader with few dozen people in the team. Kostas was an individual contributor but I insisted that he will report directly to me as the group leader. Kostas is an expert on VLSI CAD in the back-end domain, with unique expertise in static timing analysis (SAT), SW expertise, physical design and more. In this short period, too short unfortunately, I enjoyed his unique contribution both on timing as well as on PD. His deep analysis skills, and the ability to translate it to "hands-on" implementation are highly valuable to a team such as mine, or any similar EDA team. I wish Kostas all the best and those who will hire him will definitely enjoy it :) Eyal

Kostas worked closely with me on a research project for novel routing paradigms for advanced manufacturing processes. I found him to be an excellent C++ programmer, with an eye for detail and very good knowledge of sophisticated optimization techniques such as SAT/SMT. But more importantly, Kostas is highly proactive - he does not wait to be told what to do, and is able to generate novel and effective ideas on his own. He is a great team player with positive attitude and good communication skills. I sincerely enjoyed the years of close working relationship we had, and believe he will be a strong asset to any team that he joins.
