Under the direction of Dr.Nguyen and Dr. Hall, we are analyzing previous studies on Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tools implemented in previous institutions to see what types of CDS have been studied so far and how these processes can be improved. This research will cultivate in the start of our research project PUT-UF II as we interview current UF Health providers through the use of fictitious scenarios and new technology incorporated into Epic, UF Shands' electronic health record (EHR), to continue finding new ways to improve patient outcomes and provider satisfaction. From September to December 2022, I was a Supplemental Instructor for Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology I, one of the classes assigned to first year students in the Fall semester. Along with my co-instructor, we created material every week for the students to practice and master the material and would regularly host zoom meetings with the students to go over these questions we made and answer any of their own.
